Young Kun Ko

I am an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) at Penn State University.

Before this, I was a Faculty Fellow (post-doc) at New York University hosted by Professor Oded Regev and Professor Subhash Khot. I received my PhD at Princeton University in 2018 advised by Professor Mark Braverman.

Research Interest

I am interested in computational complexity theory, particularly data structure lower bounds via information-theoretic and communication-complexity techniques. More recently, I have also become interested in bioinformatics.
